Deforestation and Its Consequences

Despite these benefits, the long-term damage is very serious. Although poor communities sometimes depend on forest land, there are better solutions available. Sustainable farming and eco-tourism can provide income without destroying forests.

EMany organisations are now working to protect the world's forests. Governments have introduced laws that limit how many trees can be cut. If people plant new trees, damaged forests can slowly recover. Therefore, education and international cooperation are both very important. We must act now to protect these vital natural resources for future generations.
