Airport Basics

AAn airport is a big place where people travel by plane. Many people go to airports every day. Airports are busy and sometimes noisy. Dhaka has a large international airport called Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

BBefore flying, passengers need a passport and a ticket. They also need to check in at a counter. A worker checks their bags and documents. Then the passenger gets a boarding pass.

CAfter check-in, passengers go through security. Security officers check bags for dangerous items. Passengers put their bags on a belt. This process keeps everyone safe on the plane.

DInside the airport, there are shops and restaurants. People can buy food and drinks while they wait. There are also seats where passengers can rest. Some people are reading books or watching their phones.

EWhen the flight is ready, an announcement is made. Passengers walk to the gate and board the plane. The plane is going to take off soon. Flying is an exciting way to travel to new places.
