AFood gives us energy and keeps us healthy. We need different kinds of food every day. A balanced diet has many food groups. Eating well is very important for our body.
BRice and bread give us energy. These foods are called carbohydrates. Many Bangladeshi families eat rice with every meal. Rice is also easy to find in local markets.
CVegetables and fruits are very good for us. They have vitamins that keep our body strong. We should eat green vegetables like spinach every day. Fruits like bananas and mangoes are also healthy.
DProtein is another important part of our diet. Fish, eggs, and lentils have a lot of protein. In Bangladesh, people are eating more fish and dal. Protein helps our muscles grow and stay strong.
EDrinking enough water is also very important. Our body needs water to work well. We should drink at least eight glasses of water daily. When we eat well and drink water, we are going to feel much better.
