Water Pollution in Cities

AWater pollution is a big problem in many cities. Factories and homes put dirty water into rivers. This water is harmful to people and animals. Many cities in Bangladesh have this problem too.

BPeople throw garbage into rivers and canals. This makes the water very dirty and unsafe. Fish and other animals die because of this dirty water. Children sometimes play near these polluted rivers.

CFactories near cities also pollute water badly. They are putting chemicals into rivers every day. These chemicals are very dangerous for health. People who drink this water often get sick.

DIn many city areas, people do not have clean water. They are going to build new water treatment plants soon. Clean water is important for every family. After treatment, water becomes safe to drink.
